Terms of Service

You may create an account if you are old enough to do so in your country, or if a school or organisation has created one for you.

Learners can join a live session without an account. In that case these terms still apply to how the session is used, but no account is created.

• Keep your password confidential and do not share your account
• You are responsible for activity that happens under your account
• Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else

You keep ownership of the questions, sets, and other content you create. You grant us only the licence needed to store it, display it to the people you share it with, and operate the service.

If you publish content publicly, you are confirming you have the right to do so and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights.

You agree not to:

• Upload unlawful, harassing, hateful, or sexually explicit content
• Join a live room you have not been invited to, or disrupt someone else’s session
• Use display names that are offensive or that impersonate someone else
• Attempt to break, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the service
• Scrape or bulk-extract content you do not own

We may remove content or suspend accounts that breach this section, and we will do so promptly where learners are affected.

We aim to keep EconoQuest available but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Features may change or be withdrawn. Where a change materially reduces what an account can do, we will give notice where it is reasonable to do so.

EconoQuest is provided on an “as is” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You can stop using EconoQuest and request account deletion at any time.

We may suspend or end access where these terms are breached, where required by law, or where continued access presents a risk to other users.

We may update these terms. The date above shows the current version, and continued use after a change means the updated terms apply.
